An example of the weld quality that big joy produces
Welds that would not be acceptable from a child, on structure parts of rides.
The spring shackle to the left is what should be used. To the right is the paper thin shackle Big Joy Use. Yes - just a few mm of steel keeping your ride from collapsing on the road.
Pencil thin U Bolts used to hold axle to ride. Actual suitable bolt put next to it for thickness comparassion.
This page has been created to serve as a warning for all amusement companies around the world, to avoid wasting money with Bigjoy Amusements, in Zhengzhou, China.
We dealt with 'Li Ji Hui', who was fantastic UNTIL money was sent, which was when she almost vanished. There was many breaches of contract, we could not get a hold of her, or anyone else at Big Joy and when we complained and asked to speak with a senior manager, we were blocked.
Here is the time line of our experience with Big Joy:
We paid 10th of June and were told 25 days to be ready for shipping - communication immediately slowed.
End of September we were told goods were finally ready to ship. Final production photos were refused. We later discovered why.
Final payment was made September 29.
Shipment FINALLY departs October 20th (shipping organised by Big Joy).
January 8th 2026, shipment available for collection, 6 months after initial payment
On arrival, it became very apparent that the reason no photos were sent was because clearly Big Joys had never made this ride - and likely have never made any rides. Obviously, when they started to make it, they discoved it was anove their skillset, so they packed up the mess they made into a container, and shipped it off anyway.
No importation documents provided, no ride assembly instructions provided - just a giant mess of a container and $50,000+ down the drain.
The quality of their products is simply terrifying and would not pass inspections, anywhere in the world.
The main chasis arrived bent. Many parts missing. Many parts do not fit. Metal rusted, items damaged prior to being packaged for shipping.
Photos on this page document the horrific build quality, cheap parts and total failure of big joy.
It is our belief that Big Joy commited to making a ride that they have never actually made before, and once they began building it, discovered that it was well above their skill set.
Big joy are a scam and have no place in the Amusement industry.
We ask that amusement operators around the world continue to share this page in their communities - thanks to your help, this page has already received over 100,000 views in just a few months.
We have been made aware through friends in the community that senior management at Big Joy are aware of this; yet not a single manager has ever reached out. We all know that problems can occur - but you do not resolve them by taking money, abandoning obligations and blocking contact.
We will be reporting Big Joy to IAPPA, and the companies which they claim have done their quality testing as well as commencing legal action through the Chinese court system.

Glue on bubble soccer balls already failed, before even a single use
Toy blowers (left) being sold in a commercial environment. By comparassion the blower to the right is a real commercial blower, which should be sold.
The string above chasis rail shows what is a straight edge. This shows just how severe the trailer chasis is bent, from their poor skills. The bend was almost 100mm.
Steel arrived covered in rust
Drill a hole in the wrong spot? Don't bother replacing the beam, just drill another hole and send it anyway
We have never seen such poor quality products produced by a factory.
Many parts were scratched or damaged, only to be bubble wrapped and sent anyway.
Every single painted part arrived damaged
This yellow tunnel was supposed to fit between rails. We were sent misleading photos to indicate that it did. It never did fit, and even if it did - it isn't strong enough to support a patron.
We were misled to believe that these white plastic bits were lights. In fact they are just pain useless white plastic bits. Dozens of them.
